Our Children

House of Union (HOU) is a shelter for orphans and Lahu children whose parents do not have the financial capability to support their daily needs and school fees.

As of right now, we support 30 Lahu children, providing them with all of their daily necessities, just as a parent would. 

Having such a large family means that a large number of financial resources and manpower are required to meet the needs of all 30 children, from their education to medical needs. Despite our family’s large size, we love each and every one of our children. Our children have written a brief introduction of themselves:

	My name is Gun Phoboo.  I am 13 Years old. I am studying in grade 6.  My father he is a pastor and my mother is a farmer. I would like to be a teacher. My birthday is 30 Jun, 2004.
	My name is Mano  Poldee.  I ame 18  years old. I am studying technical school.  I want to be a mechanic. My parents are farmers. I like to play football. My birthday is 21 February, 2001
	My name is Jakarin Laova.  I am 11 Years old. I am studying in grade 5.  My parents are farmers.  I would like to be a movie star.  My birhday is 15 December, 2006.
	My name is Phakpoom Metha-athiwat. I am studying in grade 5.  I am 10 years old.  My parents are farmer.  I would like to be soldier.  My birthday is 1 Sebtember, 2007.
	My name is Surachat  Laba.  I am 16 Years old.   My parents are farmer.  I like to play football. I am studying in grade 8.  I want to be a mechanic. My birthday is 30 April, 2002.
	My name is Sumet Santhi. I am 12 Years old. I am studying in grade 7.  I would like to be a pastor. My father he is a pastor and my mother is a farmer. My birthday is 7 March, 2007.
	My name is Sutawin Kong-un.  I am 12 years old.  I am studying in grade 6.  I want to be an Engineer. I have one brother and one sister.  My father pas t away. My birthday is 13 June, 2007.
	My name is Chanikan  Pawsaenkum.  I am 14 years old. I am studying in grade 7.  I want to be a teacher.  I have one younger sister. My parents are farmer. My birthday is 15 November, 2004.
	My name is Narongsak Phusaensap.  I am 12 Years old.  My mother is a farmer.  No father. I like to play football. I am studying in grade 5.  I want to be a mechanic. My birthday is 12 May, 2007.
