Meet the Children: Teeraphap Laoyeepa

Teeraphap Laoyeepa, a sixteen-year-old teenager, currently resides at the House of Union Hostel while pursuing his studies in the tenth grade. He has a younger brother, and unfortunately, his mother passed away when he was a child. His father remarried and now has two additional children to provide for. During school breaks, he lives with his aunt as his stepmother is unable  to accommodate him in the same household. Every year, his father rents a piece of land to cultivate rice to sustain the family and serves as an evangelist in an impoverished village without remuneration, given their dire financial situation. Consequently, his father cannot afford to send Teeraphap to school. Thus, his father brought him to the House of Union hostel, hoping to provide him with a sound education.

Teeraphap is an exceptional soccer player for his school, and he takes pleasure in staying at the HOU hostel. He considers it an excellent environment to deepen his knowledge of God and foster spiritual growth. For his future, he aspires to pursue soccer and emulate his father’s example by serving God.
